Sometimes the best things in life are not the once in a life time occurrences; rather the everyday simplicities.

I Love to See the Temple, and I Went Inside.
I went to the temple last night! I can't really put in words how I feel other then I hope every member of the church strives to be worthy to enter that sacred place. I love it. I can't wait to go over and over again. It is somewhere that I can escape the world. I really wish I could explain with words how happy I was to be there and to commit to the higher law but I can't. It's felt not spoken. I'm so grateful for everyone that got me to this point and I can't wait to go next week(!!!!) with my future companion. He's wonderful and I love I got to share this experience with him.

What's That? Only Two Weeks Left Until I'm a Mrs.? YESSS
Where has the time gone? I am so close to my wedding it's unbelievable. Two weeks. Two weeks today I'll be getting ready to be sealed to Arles and become his eternal companion. As for wedding planning things are still going great, I have not stressed all that much and things are all falling into place. I love Arles I really do, he has been great over the past couple of months and has helped me to not stress over the small things. Sure it'll be nice to have a reception to celebrate our marriage but the only important part is the sealing :).
I go through the temple in three days! I can't believe that after waiting and wanting to go so bad I finally am going. Last week Arles, mom, and I went to get my temple clothes including a dress. For me putting on that dress was like trying on my wedding dress. It fit perfectly and it made things set in all the more. I stood in awe for a few minutes thinking to myself "this is really happening!". I can't wait to wear it. It's like my wedding dress in that sense, I feel beautiful wearing it. But unlike my wedding dress it's a differnt kind of beautiful, it's how I know that I will be wearing it many a times inside the temple. I love it and all it does and will stand for in the future.
Last week I had a bridal shower in Calgary :) It went great and I saw many people that I haven't seen in years. I was also surprised at the amount of gifts I got. They were like wedding presents! I have things now that can be used to make a home. We got everything from plates to a three tier appetizer tray (which looks so cute in our new home). I am so grateful for everyone who pitched in and was willing to spend time with little Julie Marie.
On another note Arles moved into our place the other day. It's a cute basement suite with a huge living room and a huge bathroom. It was so exciting putting our stuff away and trying to figure out how to organize everything. I know I'm a geek but I get a thrill not only with taking off stickers but with unpacking as well. Just the fact that it's my home and I can put things where I want is a exciting experience. Just the fact it will be our home makes things so much more exciting
Well sorry again about the lack of pictures, I promise someday I will get some on here. Anyways wish me luck with the next couple weeks and I'll try to blog on Tuesday about my temple experience :) :).

Marshmallows Float
Things are busy around here so I haven't been updating my blog as much as I would like. So this week we finally got our engagment photos back :) They are natural and so beautiful! Here's a few of my favorites:
I love all of these mainly because Arles and I are goof balls, during the whole session we were having a grand time. I love him and the fact he brings out the best in me. He's everything I ever wanted. Never did I ever think that I could deserve someone who loves me so much, he treats me with the uttermost respect and makes me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world. Only 28 (4 weeks!!!) until we're an eternal family :). 17 days until I take out my endowments!!.
I have to tell this story though. Last week at fhe we had a tiny bonfire complete with s'mores. Well I'm not a huge fan of marshmallows but I ate one anyway. Well Alres decided to make a double decker s'more. That's not even the worst of it. Right after he decided to make a giantic one. It had eight crackers, four marshmallows, two super size marshmallows, and I think four or five pieces of chocolate. He ate half of it then as soon as we got back to my place he went in the bathroom and...well got sick for a while. He came out of the bathroom and said "turns out marshmallows float". Sick. I love him but that was nasty.
Anyways I've been packing up to move back to my parents house until the wedding and I probably should go to bed...night everyone!! I promise I'll update more when I have a minute.

Looking Up
Ok so I left things depressing a couple hours ago but after doing some cleaning, folding, seven loads of laundry (yes it seems I do have that much to wash...poor Arles will have no closet space), packing, all while watching "Letters to Juliet". I feel much better now. Yes I over-dramatize things and yes I'm somewhat of an emotional wreck sometimes but I know that I'm not in it alone anymore. Perhaps it was nice to have an evening to myself to realize this. Even when he's not here, he's only a phone call away :)
I love being near him. The sprituality that radiates from him is amazing. No matter how down I am or how stressed he calms me down. Even if he is trying to blow on my stomach...it usually turns into a battle for about ten to twenty minutes. I love him even if he tries to torture me... :P. Anyways I am heading to bed early tonight so I can wake up ready for more planning tomorrow.

Really??
Seriously? Who stands there crying over the kitchen sink while doing the dishes? Apparently me :P I guess my first 'wedding planning break down' has just occured. Things are going really smooth, they are, but I suppose I'm just stressing. I have five weeks left and I'm starting to stress over everything we have left. It'll pass I'm sure, but for the time being I have more cleaning and packing to do. I hate tears I really do.

Worthy to Enter
I have one.
I have a temple recommend.
I'm just one signature away from being able to enter.

I'm Going Inside {Someday} Soon
Every day we get a little bit closer. Every day we grow closer together. We can be sitting there and I find myself just staring at him while he sleeps (he seems to fall alseep on my couch quite often :P). Today was interesting though, I had a full Sunday talking about temples and I loved every minute of it. As you can guess it's always been a very important part of my life and I get older I know it will continue to be :). Again I brought to tears as my parents and Arles were explaining the layout of the Salt Lake Temple (my family just got back from Salt Lake and apparently at the visiters center there is a replica of the inside). This doesn't seem real and I sometimes can't believe that in a months time I will be able to go past the front desk inside the Cardston as well as every temple on the earth. There is so much I want to know about. So much I have to learn. Ever since I got engaged I seem to be imporving myself; I no longer watch sketchy movies, I am striving to keep my thoughts and actions clean as well as attending temple prep classes. I want to be as prepared for this as possible. I can't wait until I have a recommend in hand and Arles beside me as I enter for the first time. It's only 36 days away!
Just over a month then I will follow President Monson's council to attend sessions as often as we can. Soon I can go anytime I wish. The sealing may be for both of us (I'm so exicted to take this step) but the endowment is for me. It is very personal and although Arles will be with me every step of the way into eternity I am doing this part for me. Not because I am getting married, but like I decided earlier this year. This is for me. I love this gospel and love the people who have brought me to this point. And now the people who will take me forward. Things will change. That's a guantee. But I'm not scared anymore, I'm excited for the future and how things have worked out. Life is good :)
